Eau de Vie Framboise Sauvage is a distillate produced by the Massenez company, located in the heart of Alsace, a French region among the richest in extraordinary agricultural products. Among these, for example, are wild raspberries, which are picked in the woods in the morning. To produce this distillate, it is carefully sorted exclusively by hand. In this way, in fact, only the best fruits are selected, which will then be placed inside large oak barrels. Here the raspberries are left to macerate for several weeks: once ripening can be defined as complete, a juice is extracted which has a high sugar content. The subsequent distillation takes place in copper stills that work with a discontinuous process.
