'Adrano' Montepulciano delle Colline Teramo DOCG Villa Medoro 2015

The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Adrano from the Villa Medoro winery is an intense red wine with a very energetic profile. Obtained only from Montepulciano grapes, grown in the Teramo hills at an altitude of about 200 meters above sea level. Bred with the guyot system, usually adopted in the driest soils, the harvested grapes are carefully selected by hand and vinified first in steel and then in barrique. The refinement takes place for 12 months in French oak barrels and, after bottling, for another 12 months in the bottle. The Villa Medoro winery is located in the village of the same name, in the heart of the Teramo hills, a few kilometers from the Adriatic Sea, and has been investing in native vineyards for decades, focusing on the quality of the grapes and wines produced. Scrupulous attention that allows the production of wines such as Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, whose quality is recognized by national and international sector guides. A complex wine, with an excellent structure, ideal for immediate consumption, but capable of giving emotions even after a few years of aging in the cellar.
