The wine is obtained from Aglianico, a native grape of the south, typically distributed in Campania, Basilicata, Puglia. It is a vine that produces purely tannic wines, often rough and angular, which need to be harvested when fully ripe, generally in the month of October. This wine is vinified in red and left in contact with the skins for a medium-long period. The refinement in the bottle aims to soften it, round it off and refine it. It has an intense ruby color and a delicate bouquet with hints of red fruit. The taste is dry, harmonic, velvety, definitely a little stingy, tannic. It goes well with game in general, red meats, medium-aged hard cheeses. Serve at a temperature of 16-18 °C. Excellent value for money!
