The Aglianico 'Dal Re' Feudi di San Gregorio was born in the heart of Irpinia in Campania, an area rich in grapes appreciated all over the world where the quality of the wines is recognized with the DOCG brand and where the cultivation of the vine has found space since from pre-Roman times. This land dedicated to agriculture and respect for traditions has always paid great attention to the improvement and exaltation of native vines which, thanks to the characteristics of the soil of volcanic and sedimentary matrix and the particularly mild climate, give rise to wines of great quality . Produced by the historic "Feudi di San Gregorio" winery, the Aglianico 'Dal Re' wine is a red wine made from 100% Aglianico grapes produced at altitudes between 350 and 750 metres. Here the native grapes are rediscovered as part of a unique environmental heritage, to be protected and conserved. This red wine with spicy notes and soft tannins owes its expression to an aging of 6 months in French oak barriques and partly in steel, then refining 6 months in the bottle. A fruity aroma and a tannic and balanced taste that reveals all the freshness of a relatively recent wine which however has the potential for good longevity, aimed at the evolution and refinement of the wine itself.
