Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass

Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

Description

The Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG "Vigneto Monte Sant'Urbano" from Cantina Speri is the company's flagship red wine. This dry passito is produced in the municipality of Fumane, in the Veneto region. The blend consists of 70% Corvina Veronese and Corvinone, 25% Rondinella and a remaining 5% Molinara. Towards the end of September the best bunches are selected manually and then left to dry for a hundred days in controlled temperature conditions. The maceration takes place in stainless steel tanks. Subsequently the wine is aged in Allier barrels for about 24 months and in oak barrels for another 12 months. Before being put on the market, this red wine of great complexity and structure is aged in the bottle. Full-bodied, warm and of rare elegance, the Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG "Vigneto Monte Sant'Urbano" is a wine that lends itself well to ageing. To be enjoyed at its best, it can be left to rest in the cellar for over ten years. To try.
