Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass

Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

Longevity
This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description

Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Classico is an elegant red wine produced by the Venetian winery Brigaldara . The label is obtained from a blend that includes the three typical native varieties, namely Corvinone (50%), Corvina (20%) and Rondinella (20%). In addition, 10% of other red grape varieties included in the denomination are added. The owned vineyards are located on particularly suitable lands near Marano. A careful selection between the rows allows to collect only the healthy bunches that lend themselves to the subsequent drying in the loft for about three months. At the end of this step, the alcoholic fermentation takes place with rigorous temperature control. According to the traditional production philosophy, only large wooden barrels are used for the refinement, where the wine remains for at least three years. Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Classico can sustain long evolutions, giving pleasant sensations even after 6-7 years of rest in the cellar.
