Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass

Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description
Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG is a wine that is born in the Zenato cellar of Peschiera del Garda. The major characteristics of the company are the great respect for tradition, combined with the most modern viticulture techniques. The grapes come from the Corvina vines for 80% and for the remaining part from the Rondinella, Oseleta and Croatina. The plants are grown on soils of calcareous origin facing South/East at about 350 meters above sea level. After the manual harvest, the best grapes are selected and left to dry in wooden boxes in the loft for 4 months. The next step is that of crushing followed by alcoholic fermentation with maceration on the skins for 20 days. The refinement takes place in large oak barrels and lasts 3 years, at the end of which it is bottled and put on the market. Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG is an intense and full-bodied wine, which is well suited for immediate drinking, but can evolve in the cellar for over 7 years.
