'62nd Anniversary' Primitivo di Manduria DOP Cantine San Marzano Reserve 2018

Cantine San Marzano was born in 1962 in Salento from the union of 19 producers, who over the years have become over 1200. Primitivo di Manduria Riserva "Anniversario 62" is a celebratory wine, which recalls the long history of production of Cantine San Marzano, a story made of quality and love for the land. The Primitivo vines used for the production of this wine are grown in the historic vineyards of the winery which are at least 60 years old and are located in the municipalities of San Marzano and Sava in Salento, where the land and the Mediterranean climate are determining factors for the 'very high quality grapes. Even the production of Primitivo di Manduria "Anniversario 62" is a traditional process and the harvest is done by hand when the grapes are in an advanced state of ripeness, the refinement for 18 months in French or American oak barriques; make this imposing red, full-bodied and enveloping, extremely representative of the Apulian territory and its traditions.
