Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect goblet for light and medium-structured white wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description
The Antinoo Lazio IGT of the Casale del Giglio winery is a white wine composed of two thirds of Viognier and one third of Chardonnay. The vineyards are located in the Agro Pontino, near the place where the bas-relief of the young Greek Antinous was found in 1907, from which the wine takes its name. After harvesting, the two grapes that make up the blend are vinified separately, with a soft pressing and followed by clarification of the must. Initially the wine is transferred to steel and then to tonneaux. While the rest of the wine ferments in casks, for a period that begins in September and ends in the following March, a part of the Chardonnay ages in oak barriques. After bottling and a period ranging from 8 to 12 months of aging in the bottle, the wine is marketed. Antinoo Lazio IGT can be savored with great satisfaction as an elegant, complex, particularly fruity wine. with dominance of yellow flowers, acacia and broom. In the mouth it is distinguished by its very persistent saline and mineral trace which softens in the finish.
