Glass
It is the perfect goblet for white wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile and this is possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

Description

Appius wine is produced by the San Michele Appiano winery, in the splendid setting of South Tyrol. This wine comes from the passion of the South Tyrolean winemaker Hans Terzer, an absolute excellence in the field of viticulture, defined as "the emperor of white wines" and winner of numerous prestigious awards. Among these, we include the excellence award from the Italian Sommelier Association, precisely for the Appius. For the realization of this white, grapes based on chardonnay, pinot blanc, gray and sauvignon are used in a perfect mix. All the grapes come from vines with more than 25-30 years of production, with a harvest still carried out by hand and fermentation in small oak barrels. The particular taste of this wine is full of notes reminiscent of bourbon vanilla and ripe tropical fruits. This gives it a marked freshness that leaves a long and permanent sensation of pleasure and harmony in the mouth.
