Large Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 2-3 years.

Description

Arpago Primitivo Tarantino PGI is a red wine produced by the Apulian winery I Pastini . The label is obtained from the vinification of Primitivo grapes only, which is the most representative local dark berried variety of this area. The autochthonous vine is grown on the vineyards owned by the company. Thanks to their optimal position, the vineyards are characterized by the presence of very favorable factors for the development of grapes with full polyphenolic and sugar concentration. Once ripening is reached, the harvest involves manual selection of the healthiest bunches. In the cellar, spontaneous fermentation takes place inside large steel tanks with temperature control. In order to preserve the typical varietal notes of the vine, the refinement takes place first in stainless steel tanks and then in glass for a couple of months. Arpago Primitivo Tarantino PGI is perfect as soon as it is bottled, but can give great satisfaction after 2-3 years of rest in the cellar.
