Recommended glass

Large Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description

The Maremma Toscana IGT "Avvoltore", produced by Morisfarms, is considered an authentic symbol of the local winemaking tradition. The winery, founded by the Moris family about two hundred years ago, is located in the Tuscan Maremma area: it is a completely favorable place for the cultivation of vineyards not only for the type of climate, but also for the particular clayey-calcareous composition of the soil . The red in question is made from 75% Sangiovese vines, with the addition of 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Syrah. The grapes used for the production of Maremma Toscana IGT "Avvoltore" are harvested by hand between the end of September and the beginning of October and then left to ferment in steel tanks for 10 days. The refinement takes place for one year in oak barrels, in the bottle for another 6 months. This red takes its name from a typical local bird of prey, known as the Falco della Maremma or, more precisely, as Avvoltore. The Maremma Toscana IGT "Avvoltore" by Morisfarms is an elegant, complex wine, characterized by a soft and intense body. The powerful tannin cleanses the palate well from meat dishes, especially if stewed, or even aged and tasty cheeses.
