Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description
Barbaresco DOCG is a wine that comes from the Sordo Giovanni cellar in Castiglione Falletto. The company represents one of the most prestigious historical realities in the Langhe area thanks to labels with a classic and authentic profile. The grapes come from the assembly of various parcels of the Nebbiolo vine grown on lands facing south/west, about 350 meters above sea level and rich in clay, limestone, marl and sand. After the harvest, through the careful selection of the best bunches, we proceed with the destemming and fermentation in steel containers with submerged cap maceration on the skins. The wine rests for 6 months in steel and for 1 year in Slavonian oak barrels. Before being put on the market, the wine needs a further period of refinement in the bottle. Barbaresco DOCG is a full-bodied and fine wine, which is well suited for immediate drinking, but can evolve in the cellar for several years before being tasted.
