Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description
Barbaresco DOCG is an elegant and structured red wine produced by the Piedmontese winery Pio Cesare . It is obtained from the vinification of only Nebbiolo grapes, the most important native variety of the Langhe. The proprietary vines grow on the Treiso and San Rosso crus, among the most renowned plots of the appellation. Here the conditions are ideal for the cultivation of this vine, which expresses itself in a refined way. When they reach full maturity, only the best bunches are selected and harvested by hand. Fermentation coincides with maceration on the skins and lasts for about a month in steel vats. The subsequent refinement involves the division into two distinct lots: the first provides for a rest of two and a half years in large oak barrels, while the second lot is placed in French barriques. Barbaresco DOCG is perfect right from the start, elegant and sumptuous, just as it can evolve after a rest that can last for over ten years.
