It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 2-3 years.

Description
The Barbera d'Alba DOC produced by the Costa di Bussia-Tenuta Arnulfo company was born in the beautiful wine district located halfway between Barolo and Monforte d'Alba. We are in the splendid setting of the Langhe, one of the most complex and fascinating terroirs on the national wine scene. This red, endowed with an excellent structure, is vinified in purity from Barbera grapes, grown along the western ridge of the famous Bussia hill, a soil rich in clay and sandstone and affected by a mild and temperate climate. The harvest involves a careful selection of the bunches. In the cellar, the method followed is that of traditional winemaking. The maceration on the skins lasts a maximum of ten days and involves continuous punching down and pumping over. The wine is then transferred to small oak barriques where it ages before being bottled. Barbera d'Alba DOC is a ready-to-drink wine capable of evolving in an interesting way after resting for two or three years in the cellar.
