It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

Description

Barbera d'Alba DOC is an elegant red produced by the Francesco Rinaldi & Figli winery, an important reality in the Langhe. This label is obtained by vinifying exclusively Barbera grapes, a native variety with unmistakable scents. The area where the vineyards are located is located between the municipalities of La Morra and Barolo. In these places, the substrates boast good percentages of clay and limestone. By virtue of the south-east exposure and the excellent drainage capacity of the soil, the vines can grow luxuriantly. At the end of a careful harvest, the vinification in the cellar begins with a contact maceration on the skins for at least two weeks. At this point, the lots that come from the various plots are assembled and the wine ages in Slavonian wooden barrels for at least a year. Barbera d'Alba DOC is excellent to taste already after bottling, even if it boasts considerable potential to surprise those who know how to wait up to a maximum of 3-4 years.
