Barbera d'Alba DOC 'Tre Vigne' Vietti 2020

The Barbera d'Alba Tre Vigne red wine from the Vietti winery is obtained exclusively using Barbera grapes. The hills around the Alba area, in Piedmont, are the ideal habitat for this vine as it is characterized by calcareous and clayey soils and a perfect microclimate for the development of the vines. For four generations, this winery has ensured the production of excellent quality wines, thanks to the enhancement of the territory and a skilful balance between craftsmanship and technological innovation. The Barbera d'Alba Tre Vigne red wine requires a particularly meticulous production cycle. After the harvest, a cold pre-fermentation is carried out for a short period, before the alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature. Subsequently, malolactic fermentation takes place in barriques before aging in the bottle. The result is a full-bodied red wine with a good structure, slightly acidic and tannic, with a light aromatic and fruity aftertaste. Ideal with meat dishes from the Langhe cuisine.
