Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 2-3 years.

Description
Barbera d'Alba Doc is one of the finest wines of the Piedmontese winery Azienda Agricola GD Vajra . The philosophy of this producer is respect for tradition, which has remained unchanged since 1975, the year of foundation, in full respect and enhancement of the territory. A territory, that of the Langhe, characterized by fairly mild summers, the nearby Alps, in winter, protect the vineyards from the icy winds from the north. Barbera d'Alba Doc is produced with 100% Barbera grapes, the berries have a pruinose skin with an intense blue colour. After maceration and fermentation, this wine is aged in steel tanks and wooden barrels. It has fine tannins and a good persistence, making it soft, fresh but decisive. A wine that is ready to drink but which, if stored in the correct way in the cellar, has qualities that allow it to evolve interestingly for at least another two years.
