Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

Description

Nizza Barbera d'Asti DOCG Superiore is an interesting proposal made by the Oddero winery, an important Piedmontese winery. To obtain this important red wine, only 100% pure Barbera grapes are used. Nizza is the denomination of the "Nizza Monferrato sub-area where this grape is believed to have the best qualitative yield. This vine, typical of Piedmont, is grown on soils with a high clayey-limestone content, with additional sandy components. The wide temperature ranges between day and night they allow optimal development of the bunches. The best Barbera grapes are harvested manually at the end of September, when the harvest begins. After the soft pressing of the berries, the fermentation phase can begin, which takes place exclusively on local yeasts and inside steel tanks. The wine is finally left to age for 18 months in oak barriques, before being bottled.Nizza Barbera d'Asti DOCG Superiore is a refined wine with a strong personality, the consumption of which is recommended during convivial occasions.
