'Royal Baroque' Primitivo Salento Rosso IGP Vecchia Torre 2016

Barocco Reale is one of the most prestigious red wines made by the Vecchia Torre winery, a winery that has been present in the Salento area for more than fifty years. One of the strong points underlying the quality of the red is the passion and collaboration that distinguish the production and management system of the cellar. Royal Baroque, whose classification is Primitivo IGP Salento Rosso, is obtained 100% from grapes of the Primitivo vine, bred according to the sapling and spurred cordon system. This red from the Vecchia Torre winery is made from the best bunches of the vine. After a fermentation of the must for 10/15 days in steel tanks, it is fermented in French oak barriques for about 12 months. In order to fully savor the robustness and softness of the wine, it is advisable to wait at least four years after the harvest. In the glass it is dark purple red. The aromas are intense with hints of ripe red fruits. The taste is warm, robust and slightly soft. Recommended to accompany roasted red meats, game and aged cheeses. The Royal Baroque will be an excellent companion for dinners with friends.
