Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

Description
The Barolo del Comune di Monforte d'Alba DOCG is a fine red wine produced by Domenico Clerico , a winery that works hard to enhance this denomination. The grapes of the native Nebbiolo variety, destined to be vinified alone, come from a blend of the best Nebbiolo vineyards in Monforte d'Alba. The intent of the company is to make the most of the peculiarities of this municipality and of the land on which the vines stand, made up of silt, clay and sand. In the vineyard, the production methods are inspired by a traditional philosophy. Once the manual harvest has been completed, the winemaking process begins with spontaneous fermentation. The refinement takes two years, a period of time during which the wine acquires softness and new nuances inside small French oak barrels. Perfect right from the start, Barolo del Comune di Monforte d'Alba DOCG can also be enjoyed after 5-6 years of further rest in the cellar.
