Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description
Arione Barolo DOCG is a wine that is born in the Giacomo Conterno cellar of Monforte d'Alba. Located in the Langhe wine district, the company represents one of the Italian excellences in the world. The grapes come from the Nebbiolo vineyards located on rich soils, mainly clay and limestone. The temperate and cold climate, influenced by the humid currents of the Ligurian Sea, helps to give more structure to the plants. After the harvest and the careful selection of the best bunches, the red wine is made with maceration on the skins and the wine then rests in oak barrels for at least 48 months. All the working phases, both in the vineyard and in the cellar, aim to give a final product of great structure and elegance. Arione Barolo DOCG is a complex and structured wine suitable for immediate drinking, but it has qualities that allow it to rest in the cellar for over 10 years before tasting.
