It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description
Barolo DOCG Brunate is an elegant and structured red wine from the Piedmontese winery Marcarini . It is obtained from the single-variety vinification of only grapes of the prized local Nebbiolo variety. The vineyard that gives the wine its name represents one of the most suitable crus of all the Langhe. On the calcareous and clayey soils rich in magnesium, the vines find in fact a very favorable environment, thanks also to the south-west exposure and the Guyot cultivation system. When they reach the ideal degree of ripeness, the bunches are selected in the vineyard before being transported to the cellar. Here the grapes are pressed and then subjected to a long alcoholic fermentation of one month with maceration on the skins. The refinement phase follows, which lasts at least two years and takes place in medium-sized oak barrels. By virtue of its structure, Barolo DOCG Brunate lends itself to giving pleasant surprises even after several years of careful storage in the cellar.
