Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description

Barolo DOCG is an elegant and important wine produced in the Scavino Paolo cellar in Castiglione Falletto. The family-run company dates back to 1921 and still today represents one of the most expressive realities in the area, thanks to highly prestigious labels. The grapes come from Nebbiolo vines grown on land located at 290 meters above sea level, exposed to the South, South/East, rich in fossil marl. After the harvest, the best grapes are macerated and fermented in steel tanks in the presence of indigenous yeasts. We then continue with the malolactic fermentation which takes place in oak barrels. The refinement phase involves 4 different steps: 12 months in steel, 10 in French oak barriques and 14 in large barrels. After bottling, the wine needs a further period of maturation equal to 10 months before being put on the market. Barolo it is a harmonious and intense wine, perfect for immediate drinking, but it can rest in the cellar for up to 15 years.
