It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description
Barolo DOCG is an elegant and structured red wine produced by the Diego Conterno winery, one of the most appreciated interpreters of the territorial authenticity of the Langhe. This label is the result of the vinification of only grapes of the native Nebbiolo vine. The owned plots located in Monforte d'Alba offer very favorable conditions for the cultivation of this variety, thanks to the substrate rich in minerals, the microclimate and perfect sun exposure. When they have reached the ideal level of ripeness, the bunches are selected with great care by hand for transport to the cellar. Here the vinification works begin with the fermentation with maceration on the skins, a passage that lasts for almost a month. Refinement follows, which takes place in line with local tradition and provides for a rest in oak barrels for at least two and a half years before bottling. Barolo DOCG is a perfect red wine to be enjoyed immediately, but designed to sustain long evolutions that exceed 15 years.
