It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description
The Barolo DOCG of the Municipality of Serralunga d'Alba is an elegant red wine from Fontanafredda , one of the most important production realities of the Langhe. The label is obtained from the vinification of only Nebbiolo grapes, the autochthonous vine par excellence of Piedmont. Among the over one hundred hectares owned by the company, all in Serralunga d'Alba, the grapes are grown within one of the most noble crus ever. After a careful process between the rows, the grapes are selected by hand and harvested in the first half of October. The vinification begins with the fermentation in large stainless steel tanks, where the grapes remain for two weeks without exceeding 30°. The subsequent refinement involves a passage of over two years in fine French oak barriques, as well as a rest in the bottle for at least one year. It is a wine that is ready today, but to be appreciated at its best, it is advisable to keep the Barolo DOCG of the Municipality of Serralunga d'Alba for a while in the cellar, where it can remain for over 10 years to refine.
