Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description

Barolo DOCG France is an intense and full-bodied red wine produced by the Giacomo Conterno winery. This label is obtained from the vinification of only Nebbiolo grapes, the most representative local variety of the Langhe. On the ancient Francia vineyard, which extends for 14 hectares on a calcareous substrate, the vines enjoy the perfect conditions for producing healthy grapes with a particularly elegant sensory profile. Already during pruning the best bunches are selected, leaving only one specimen per branch which is then harvested manually and transported to the cellar. Here the grapes are gently pressed and then subjected to maceration which lasts for a month. This step takes place in untoasted wooden vats. Aging takes place in oak barrels of varying sizes and lasts 4 years. Barolo DOCG Francia is a red designed for long evolutions, pleasantly surprising even after 15 years of rest in the cellar.
