It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description
Barolo DOCG La Serra is an intense and full-bodied red wine produced by the Marcarini winery, a reality committed to faithfully narrating the vocated Langhe terroir. This label is obtained from the single-variety vinification of the native Nebbiolo vine. The homonymous plots are located near the municipality of La Morra, where the calcareous and clayey lands lend themselves to the production of grapes with a marked elegance. When the grapes reach maturity they are carefully selected during the manual harvest before being transported to the cellar. Here the winemaking processes are inspired by a traditional philosophy, as evidenced by the alcoholic fermentation which takes place in oak vats. For ageing, the company always focuses on fine oak barrels, in which the wine ages for at least a year and a half before being put on the market. Barolo DOCG La Serra is a full-bodied red, designed to surprise even after long evolutions of 7-8 years in the cellar.
