Vinopuro's advices

Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description
The Barolo DOCG Marziano Abbona is made by one of the historic and most renowned cellars of the Langhe. Thanks to the passion that unites the different generations of the Marziano Abbona company, the owned vineyards located in Monforte d'Alba are cultivated in an excellent way and with respect for tradition. The Nebbiolo grapes, which grow on vines of about forty years of age, are carefully harvested before being transported to the cellar, where they are destined to be vinified alone. The process begins with an alcoholic fermentation on indigenous yeasts, to then continue with a maceration for thirty days, which is followed by a racking phase. The refinement lasts for thirty months in 25-hectolitre barrels: at the end of this period, in which the wine manages to reach the perfect concentration of sensory nuances, it is followed by a further rest of six months in the bottle. Barolo DOCG Marziano Abbona is an intense and persistent red wine, excellent as a gift as a valuable label.
