Recommended glass

Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

Longevity
This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description
On the hills of Monforte d'Alba comes the Barolo DOCG Mosconi from the Chiara Boschis - E. Pira & Figli farm. The manual work and traditional care that the company undertakes to carry out, characterize the production of this structured and long-lived wine whose grapes come from ancient vineyards. Nebbiolo is the prince of these lands, whose soils of Swiss nature guarantee the nutrients necessary for the good vigor of the vines. Calcareous-clayey marls, rich in carbonate and iron, offer wines destined for long ageing. The manual harvesting of the grapes in crates and the controlled temperature vinification allow to preserve the organoleptic characteristics of the starting grapes. The temperature-controlled fermentation takes place in steel before placing the wine in barriques for a minimum rest of 24 months. The olfactory complexity of Barolo DOCG Mosconi immediately emerges on the nose. On the palate it is engaging, ethereal, complex. The refined tannic note and the perfect balance guarantee perfect harmony.
