Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description
The Barolo Mosconi Vigna Ped DOCG from the Conterno Fantino winery was born in the renowned wine-growing area of the Langhe. The company boasts an ancient tradition and is currently based exclusively on organic farming. The grape is 100% Nebbiolo, as per the disciplinary, the main vine in this area, the Langhe, with a warm and temperate climate and characterized by soil rich in sand, clay and silt. The harvest takes place in October, after which the grapes are placed in the rooms suitable for fermentation and maceration, in close contact with the skins in steel vats for about 15 days. This process is followed by maturation in French oak barriques for at least two years. To reach the highest level of qualitative expression, the wine requires a further refinement period of one year in the bottle. Barolo Mosconi Vigna Ped DOCG is an intense, robust and rightly tannic wine which, despite being ready, can evolve well if left to rest in the cellar for over 10 years.
