Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass

Ballon
Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description

The Barolo Riserva Bussia Soprana Vigna Mondoca is an extraordinary red wine produced by the Piedmontese company Oddero, which in this label manages to summarize the best qualities of a vine such as Nebbiolo. From its grapes, which are grown in vineyards over 35 years of age and vinified alone, a powerful and fascinating red is obtained. Only the best grapes pass the strict manual selection, after which they undergo a maceration that lasts for thirty days. The maturation takes place inside oak barrels for about thirty-six months, while the refinement in the bottle is not less than twenty-four months. Barolo Riserva Bussia Soprana Vigna Mondoca is a label whose production requires time and dedication and, as such, it should only be tasted on special occasions. It is a red wine with excellent capacity for evolution: although it is notable already in its youth, it is preferable to let it rest for some time in the cellar, where it can remain for over twenty years.
