It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

Description
The Barolo DOCG Riserva Cerretta Vigna Bricco is an intense and full-bodied red wine, made by the historic Piedmontese winery Elio Altare . It is obtained from the pure vinification of Nebbiolo grapes, the precious dark grape variety which expresses itself in a truly excellent and unique way on these marly and calcareous soils. On the Bricco Cerretta "cru", the vines meet the ideal conditions to thrive until the moment of the manual harvest. Only the best bunches are selected and harvested for transport to the cellar. Here the grapes are left to macerate and ferment spontaneously for about 3 days inside innovative machinery. For the aging phase, the company favors fine oak barriques, where the wine rests for at least two years before being marketed. Excellent right from the start, the Barolo DOCG Riserva Cerretta Vigna Bricco boasts considerable potential for further evolution for 10 years and more.
