Glass
It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored.

Description

Barolo DOCG Sarmassa is a label signed by Giacomo Brezza , an important winery in the Langhe. This intense and full-bodied red wine is obtained from the exclusive vinification of Nebbiolo grapes, as per regulation. The vines are grown in the Sarmassa vineyard, whose name recalls the presence of an ancient brackish spring. The cru rises at an altitude of 300 meters and extends for just one hectare. The substrate is composed of the Marne di Sant'Agata which contain clay, silt and sand. After the harvest, the grapes are transported to the cellar, where the winemaking processes are inspired by a traditional philosophy. The fermentations are spontaneous, on indigenous yeasts and without any filtration. Aging takes place in large Slavonian oak barrels and lasts for 24 months, during which Barolo DOCG Sarmassa acquires even more complex scents. Perfect for special occasions, this red can be enjoyed immediately or left to rest for up to 10 years in the cellar.
