Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect glass for light and medium-structured red wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description

In the George Duboeuf cellar, which has been producing wines in the Burgundy region for over 1 century, Beaujolais Villages is produced; George Duboeuf was a kind of ambassador of the region making Beaujolais known all over the world by offering high quality wines. The Beaujolais Villages grapes come from proprietary native vines with an area of about 30 hectares, their exposure is towards the south-east, and two thirds are older than 50 years (but some plants are almost 100 years old). The grapes for the production of this wine, which comes 100% from Gamay vines, are harvested manually, in whole bunches, with complete destemming before pressing; for 10 - 12 days there is semi-carbonic maceration with relative fermentation which takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Beaujolais Villages is a red wine that can be enjoyed throughout a meal which, in order to fully enjoy it, should preferably be drunk young and at the latest within a year of bottling, perhaps during a lunch with family members.
