Bergamotto Fantastico is a liqueur produced by Vecchio Magazzino Doganale , a company that with this label wants to celebrate one of the most renowned Calabrian excellences. Among the most representative fruits of Calabria, especially of the Cosenza area, the bergamot stands out with its typical floral notes. This citrus fruit is grown in a sustainable way, in order to obtain natural peels free from traces of chemicals. It is precisely the bergamot peels that are used in the distillery, as they contain many essential oils. The infusion phase in alcohol lasts about two months. At the same time, another infusion of aromatic herbs such as coriander and cumin is carried out. Once the two lots have been assembled, after bottling, the flavored liqueur rests for just under three months in glass. With its remarkable longevity, Bergamotto Fantastico can be enjoyed alone or in a cocktail at any time.
