'Blau ' Blau' Tre Venezie IGT Jermann 2018

Blau & Blau Tre Venezie IGT is an intense red wine from the Jermann winery, a cellar that with its work enhances the characteristics of a particularly suitable area such as Collio. This is the case of this label which is obtained from the vinification of Blaufränkisch grapes, a local vine also known as Franconia del Collio and from a small addition of Pinot Noir grapes. The plots exposed to the south-west constitute an optimal environment for the vines, which rooted in alluvial substrates. The manual harvest involves the careful selection of the bunches. Once in the cellar, the grapes are de-stemmed and pressed. This is followed by alcoholic fermentation, which takes place in modern stainless steel tanks. The refinement phase involves the use of precious oak barrels, in which the wine acquires complex scents. Blau & Blau Tre Venezie IGT can be appreciated immediately, as well as after a further rest of 3-4 years.
