It is the perfect boblet for red wines with good structure and intensity; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is made possible by contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous dimensions of the chalice.

Description

The Alto Adige Valle Venosta Pinot Nero DOC from the renowned South Tyrolean winery Falkenstein, belonging to the Alto Adige Winegrowers Association, is an extremely elegant red wine made with 100% Pinot Nero grapes. Pinot Noir is an international vine coming from France, more precisely from the Côte d'Or; it is characterized by its rather compact elongated bunches with small berries that resemble a pine cone. It is precisely from the shape of the bunch that its name derives, pinot in French means pine cone. This wine is the result of a rigorously hand-picked harvest, followed by vinification in large oak wood tanks, after which the Alto Adige Valle Venosta Pinot Nero DOC ages in French barriques for 12 months. Once bottled, before being placed on the market, it refines for another year in the bottle. The result is a wine of great value, an intense red with a good structure that stands out for its richness and complexity. A prestigious red that has received several awards, including the 4 Bibenda bunches.
