Bolgheri Rosso DOC Podere Prospero 2019

Bolgheri Rosso DOC is a structured red wine produced by the Tuscan winery Podere Prospero , a company that has always been committed to the exaltation of the Maremma terroir. The label is the result of a blend that includes Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, three "international" varieties present in different percentages. The almost thirty-year-old vines sink their roots into soils mainly composed of sand. The vineyards enjoy the beneficial breezes that come from the nearby Tyrrhenian Sea, as well as the optimal exposure to the south-east. Once fully ripe, the bunches are subjected to manual sorting to identify the healthiest specimens. In the cellar, the vinification begins with the cold maceration of the grapes and continues with the alcoholic fermentation. The subsequent refinement phase lasts at least a year and takes place in precious wooden barrels. Perfect already after bottling, Bolgheri Rosso DOC boasts the potential to evolve further up to 5 years.
