Description

Brachetto D'Acqui DOCG is a sweet sparkling red wine, to be served at dessert time, made by the Braida winery in the territories that extend from Aqui Terme to Liguria. It is produced in purity with an ancient particularly aromatic red grape variety, typical of the Piedmont area: the Brachetto. The vines are located on hilly sandy clayey and calcareous soils which allow the grapes to acquire significant organoleptic nuances. After the harvest, we move on to maceration on the skins at a controlled temperature, followed by the second fermentation. The wine is refermented in an autoclave with the Charmat method and finally bottled, however before being marketed it still spends a few weeks in the cellar. Brachetto D'Acqui DOCG is a soft, sweet wine with an important aromatic texture. It is preferable to taste it when young, as it is the period in which its fragrant aromas are in the best condition.
