Colli Tortonesi Freisa DOC Bragh is a terroir red produced by the historic Vho Claudio Marotto cellar, famous nationally and internationally for its artisanal wines, which well represent the winemaking tradition of the Alessandria area. The family-run company has been offering only high quality wines for four generations and concentrates its production above all on Timorasso and Barbera. Also noteworthy are the labels that come from Freisa, Cortese and Croatina vines. The Colli Tortonesi Freisa DOC Braghè takes shape from the vinification of 100% Freisa grapes, the fruit of vines grown on the clayey limestone soil of the Braghé area. The age of the vineyards from which the grapes are carefully selected is between 10 and 15 years. After the harvest, carried out by hand in the first days of October, the bunches are transported to the cellar where they undergo a process of maceration on the skins. Subsequently the wine ages for a few months, after which it is bottled. The result is a typical red, a label with a good aging capacity, for a wine with a sweet and fresh sip, which is characterized by its balance and its long persistence. Classic very versatile wine, for the whole meal.
