The Chardonnay "Bramito del Cervo" is a white wine classified as Umbria IGT. It is produced on the Castello della Sala estate owned by the Antinoris, a family with a centuries-old tradition in the sector, so much so that wine has been produced on this estate since the 16th century. The vineyards are located in Umbria not far from Orvieto, near the border with Tuscany. Here the hilly soils, clayey and rich in minerals, have proved to be very suitable for the cultivation of vines. The Bramito del Cervo wine has been produced since 1994 (the first year of production) exclusively with Chardonnay grapes. This vine of French origin, widely spread throughout Italy, in this area is able to express wines of particular minerality and elegance. The harvest takes place in the second half of August; after pressing, the must is fermented partly in wood and partly in stainless steel vats. The wine obtained is quite full-bodied and flowing. Its marked minerality gives the tasting a pleasantly savory finish.
