'Brigade' Langhe Chardonnay DOC Renato Ratti 2021

Brigata Langhe Chardonnay DOC is a white wine produced by the historic Piedmontese winery Renato Ratti . It is obtained from the vinification of only Chardonnay grapes, an international vine that finds in the denomination an ideal environment to thrive with excellent results. Between the rows the viticulture practices are aimed at preserving the delicate ecosystem until the time of the harvest. Around mid-September, the bunches reach the optimal degree of ripeness and undergo manual selection before being harvested and transported to the cellar. The soft pressing of the grapes is followed by alcoholic fermentation, which takes place according to local tradition in French oak barriques on the first and second passage. The refinement phase involves a rest of a few months on the fine lees in stainless steel tanks. Perfect right from the start, Brigata Langhe Chardonnay DOC can also be appreciated after a further evolution of a couple of years.
