Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass
Glass
Medium Open Goblet
Glass
It is the perfect goblet for light and medium-structured white wines; these wines do not require prolonged contact with oxygen to best enhance their bouquet. Indeed, a slightly narrower opening of the glass is recommended: this helps the concentration and the direction of the aromas towards the nose. In this way, the perception of the aromas is increased, enhancing the sensations.

Description

The white wine Lugana Brolettino from the Sirmione Ca' dei Frati cellar is an excellent representative of the winemaking tradition of Lombardy. It is no coincidence that this wine is one of the most representative products of the Ca' dei Frati farm, the first to make Lugana known outside the Lombard borders. Brolettino is a white wine that has an important aging capacity. Produced with 100% Turbiano grapes, this wine, from the moment it is placed on the market, can be left to rest in the cellar for 2 or 3 years. Lugana Brolettino is the fruit of grapes harvested only and exclusively when they have reached full maturity; a vinification follows which takes place partly in steel and partly in barriques; after which the wine ages for 10 months in barriques, after which it is bottled. However, before being marketed the Brolettino follows a further maturation in the bottle lasting 3 months. The result is a white wine with an interesting sapidity, fresh and elegant, which is characterized by its structure, its softness and its particular persistence.
