Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description

Brunello di Montalcino is an excellent terroir wine, for a label that is the great pride of the Castello di Romitorio winery, a production reality that rises in an imposing fourteenth-century castle and has been cultivating its own vineyards for generations in the Montalcino area. This red is the result of a long process carried out in total harmony with nature, the same that has allowed the wine to best express the essence of the reference territory. An important label, which is the result of the vinification of 100% Sangiovese grapes, as per the specification, the fruit of vines grown north/west of Montalcino, on soil rich in skeleton. With several national and international awards, including that of the Bibenda Guide, Brunello di Montalcino takes shape from a harvest and a manual selection of the bunches. Subsequently, the must undergoes a fermentation process in steel tanks. Finally, the wine matures in wooden barrels for just over 2 years, after which it is bottled. Before being marketed, however, it still refines in glass for about a year. Very important period. There is something intoxicating and invigorating in this wine: the intense, almost balsamic aromas, the tannins are deeply intertwined in the body, firm but fine, and give this wine an exceptional structure. Remember: this wine leaves its mark as soon as it is released, but becomes even more true to itself as it ages.
