Vinopuro's advices

Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description

The Brunello di Montalcino Lisini wine is produced in the Lisini cellar which is located in the Sant'Angelo in Colle hamlet in Montalcino and has belonged to the family of the same name since the 16th century; the vineyards are located on an area of about 24 hectares and benefit from an excellent southern exposure and a particular microclimate which is influenced by the marine atmospheric currents coming from the Maremma; the result is little rainfall and rare mists, which combined with the fresh and porous Eocene tuffaceous soil, allow the Brunello di Montalcino from the Lisini winery to have unique characteristics. Brunello di Montalcino Lisini is produced from 100% Sangiovese Grosso grapes, located at about 350 meters above sea level, fermented for about 30 days and aged in oak barrels for a further 42 months; the result is an intense, robust and full-bodied wine, suitable for a formal dinner that can easily be left to rest in the cellar for up to ten years. In order to fully enjoy all its qualities, it is recommended to oxygenate it in a decanter for a few tens of minutes before tasting it.
