Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

Longevity
This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description

The Brunello di Montalcino DOCG of the Sassetti Livio Pertimali company is produced with Sangiovese grapes from the vineyards located in Montosoli. This area, north of Montalcino, is particularly suited to breeding Brunello, the family has renovated the vineyards over time, but has preserved the genetic heritage of existing ancient vines in order to protect their characteristics. The soils have a medium skeleton and are rich in limestone and clay, the microclimate is characterized by optimal temperature ranges and ideal temperatures for the perfect development of the vines. The manual harvesting of the grapes is followed by the vinification processes at a controlled temperature, the fermentation takes place in steel vats and the maceration lasts up to 10 days for the extraction of perfumes, aromas and colours. The refinement of this Brunello di Montalcino DOCG is 3 years in Saxony barrels, followed by 6 months of further refinement in the bottle. The color is intense ruby red, aromas of ripe red fruit and spices. Very elegant and structured on the palate, with good acidity and pleasant, soft tannins. A wine that immediately expresses its character and personality but can evolve further if left to rest in the cellar for many years.
