Vinopuro's advices
Recommended glass

Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

Longevity
This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description

The extraordinary red Il Greppo Brunello di Montalcino DOCG , a label signed by the Biondi Santi winery, is perfect for special occasions. Obtained from the vinification of 100% Sangiovese grosso, this wine is the true symbol of a territory where viticulture becomes an art. The vineyards of the Il Greppo estate boast an average age of about twenty years and are cultivated according to an ancient tradition, which meets innovative technologies, in order to achieve perfection from an oenological point of view. After a careful harvest, during which only the best grapes are selected, Il Greppo Brunello di Montalcino DOCG is left to mature for three years in large Slavonian oak barrels, which give the wine unique aromas. By virtue of an important structure and unrivaled longevity, this red can be stored in the cellar for decades, evolving in an extraordinary way and maintaining all its integrity and personality.
