Vinopuro's advices

Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

Description
The Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Riserva Franco Ambrosino is a fine red wine from the Cantina di Montalcino . It is obtained from the vinification of grapes of the Sangiovese Grosso variety, the main vine of this area. In the vineyard. the work is meticulous to ensure that the vines can get the maximum nourishment from soils that have marine and clayey sediments. The climate is another factor that favors the perfect ripening of the bunches, which are then harvested manually, as per tradition. Once in the cellar, the grapes are subjected to a red vinification with maceration on the skins for a month. This phase responds to the objective of extracting color and tannins and takes place at a controlled temperature. The subsequent refinement continues for at least three years in small Slovenian oak barrels. Given its characteristics and important structure, the Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Riserva Franco Ambrosino boasts the potential to further refine up to fifteen years.
