Glass
It is the perfect glass for structured, intense, aged red wines or potentially suitable for refinement; this type of wine certainly needs to "open" (that means to better develop its aromatic, intense and complex profile) and this is possible by the prolonged contact with oxygen (oxygenation) which, in fact, is facilitated by the generous cup size.

This wine is ready to be tasted now, with great satisfaction; however, it has qualities that allow it to evolve and refine over time, if properly stored, for at least another 7-8 years.

Description
The Buio Buio Carignano del Sulcis from the Mesa winery is one of the typical products of the Sardinian winemaking tradition. The growing area of the vine is located near the bay of Porto Pino, a place where the climatic conditions are particularly favorable and there are soils with a sandy and clayey structure, characteristics that allow the production of excellent quality grapes. The production of the Buio Buio Carignano del Sulcis red wine comes to life with the harvest, during which the grapes are carefully selected, choosing only those that have reached the right degree of ripeness. It then moves on to fermentation in steel for 8 days with periodic pumping over and subsequent maturation for a period of no less than 10 months in second and third passage barriques, finally, before being put on the market, it ages for a short period in the bottle. The result is a full-bodied and well-structured wine, easy to drink, which conveys all the charisma of the land it comes from.
